The Twin Bed (Small Doubles) provided an exceptionally comfortable sleep experience, leaving me well-rested for my adventures. The overall ambiance was cozy, making it feel like a small retreat from the galaxy's chaos.

The experience was a bit overshadowed by the fact that I wasn’t there long enough to truly explore the facilities, including the pool which looked inviting but remained unused. The room, while cozy, could have offered slightly more space to spread out, especially for a traveler with more gear than usual. Sound insulation wasn’t ideal, which made for some disturbances from the hallway during late hours, potentially affecting a good night’s sleep.

The host, Madeleine, offered me a comforting cup of English tea after a long day, which made me feel incredibly welcomed.

I almost thought this would be a lovely stay, then I realized the breakfast was crowded, and the pool wasn’t even open! My expectations for a warm welcome drink were also utterly dashed. Such a shame as I woudl ve been willing to give a good review, but I simply couldn't in those conditions.

The stay was delightful! The spacious family suite was perfect for our teen kids, who loved the clean pool and relaxing garden area. Having access to a communal kitchen made meals easy and engaging, and the breakfast was just what we needed to start our busy days.

In my wife’s opinion, a few more games or activities for the kids would have been nice.
